London Legacy 10U wins tourney

The London Legacy 10U baseball team took home the championship trophy from the Jeffersonville Fourth of July Tournament held July 3-5 in Jeffersonville.

Six teams competed in the event including London, Greenfield, Jeffersonville, Jamestown, Circleville and Licking. The championship game was a clash between London Legacy of London and the Roundtown Tigers of Circleville which went 10 innings, before the Legacy pulled out a 6-5 victory.

Other victories for London included a 6-4 win over Greenfield, a 16-4 crushing of Jeffersonville and another win over Greenfield 5-2.

This is the first tournament for London Legacy in 2015, it will compete in three more tournaments this season.
