With a trial only two weeks away, attorneys for accused murderer Tevin Jackson are asking Madison County Common Pleas Judge Eamon Costello to throw out key evidence in the case.

Jackson, 25, a London native, is accused of killing William Benson during a home invasion robbery at Lamplight Court apartments in the city on Jan. 22. He is also charged with the death of Justin Coffey, his alleged accomplice in the robbery gone awry.

Jackson’s trial date is set for Oct. 1. For the full story, see Friday’s edition.
