Madison Health has become more accessible.

The organization recently purchased a golf cart to provide transportation to and from parking locations across campus for all patients and visitors, especially those who need assistance walking.

The free passenger service is currently available Monday through Friday and the golf cart is operated by a team of trained volunteers. The five-passenger cart is also equipped with plastic windows in the event of rain.

Madison Health is looking for additional volunteer drivers to fulfill a two-hour morning shift. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license and a willingness to serve.

All interested candidates may contact Darla Bires, volunteer coordinator, at 740-845-7012 or by e-mail, dbires@madison-health.com.
