That is the theme of the Ohio Association of County Boards of Developmental Disabilities, as the organization has asked local County Boards of Developmental Disabilities to continually make a difference in their respective communities. The theme is in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of County Board of Developmental Disabilities in Ohio.
With that in mind, the employees of Madison County Board of Developmental Disabilities recently held a food drive to benefit local community-assistance organizations. The several boxes of canned and other food items they collected were donated to the Food Thru Faith food cupboard, located on West Center Street in London.
The ‘Always There’ mantra certainly applies to Food Thru Faith, as well as a number of other similar assistance programs throughout Madison County. Food Thru Faith is supported by the following London places of worship — First Baptist Church, First Church of God, First Presbyterian Church, St. John’s Lutheran Church and Lafayette United Methodist Church.
The hours of operation are Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-11:30 a.m.
