Seeing RED

A fresh, brilliant red coat of powder makes the LONDON sculpture almost glow in the afternoon sun. Located at the Prairie Grass Trailhead, behind the Madison County Senior Center, the large LONDON letters have been popular for the photo opportunity of passing bicyclists. The Friends of Madison County Parks and Trails paid for the recent refurbishment. They chose powder coating of the letters and bikes rather than paint for greater durability.
