London is once again getting geared up for Fourth of July festivities.

The parade will take place Saturday, July 4 at 11 a.m. The line-up will take place at 10 a.m.

Those interested in participating must fill out a participation form, and mail or drop it at Casey’s Carry Out, 123 S. Main St., London.

Forms are available at the City of London Administration Building, Casey’s Carry Out and on the City of London website.

Participants must check in at one of two areas, located at the Park Avenue Medical Building parking lot and Cowling Park.

The parade will start on Park Avenue, and move south on Main Street. The route will cross over High Street, and participants will turn left onto East First Street. The parade will end on Walnut Street, and participants can head back to their staging spot to unload.

Participants must adhere to the following:

• All candy should be tossed “underhand” to the side of the street and away from the moving parade.

• Youths must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

• If walking with a vehicle, you may stop, but the vehicle must continue to move.

• Do not litter. Discard all trash or take it with you for disposal at a later time.
