The Madison County Jr. Fair Swine show rose with the chickens at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, and lasted most the day.
Jacob Petee, of Madison-Plains High School, walked away with the Showman of Showmen prize Wednesday, a member of the Class 2 Seniors (15-18 year olds).
The weather stayed dry for the contest in the Eby Arena, after two straight days of storms before.
Thirty four classes competed in the contest.
In the Breeding-Gilt Showmanship, the classes were divided into ages 15-18, 12-14 and 8-11. In the Swine Market Showmanship, classes were divided into individual ages from 8-18.
