Arrest connected to Ohio college student’s disappearance

WAUSEON, Ohio (AP) — Investigators looking into the disappearance of an Ohio college student whose bicycle was found in a cornfield this week have arrested a man on an abduction charge.

The sheriff in Fulton County near Toledo said Friday that the arrest is related to the disappearance of 20-year-old Sierah Joughin.

He says investigators have not yet located her and are searching the farm belonging to 57-year-old James Worley of Delta.

Worley was taken into custody Friday. He requested an attorney who has not been appointed yet. The attorney has declined comment.

Joughin was last seen riding her bike Tuesday near Metamora. County Sheriff Roy Miller says the bike was found in the field after her mother filed a missing-person’s report.

Joughin is a student at the University of Toledo.
