Viewers Guide: What to watch for from Ohio Democrats

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio’s Democrats are headed to Philadelphia for their national convention hopeful their party will build unity.

The Republican convention in Cleveland showed scars lingering from primary season. Ohio Democratic Chairman David Pepper says divisions between the Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders camps will certainly be evident at his party’s convention. But he says “the mission will be unification.”

A Sanders delegate from Ohio says his supporters will be seeking rules and platform concessions.

Other Ohio story lines to watch will include those who are jockeying for position in 2018 statewide races, the Ohio officials led by Sen. Sherrod Brown who will speak at the convention and what Senate nominee Ted Strickland will be doing during the week.
