It will be a night of some scary good music.
These kids have some tricks up their sleeves to make it a real treat.
West Jefferson vocal director Rachel Armas has assembled an eclectic — but talented — group of students to present the school’s third annual Halloween Cabaret. The event runs from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 at the high school.
The evening includes a Costume Contest (with prizes) a chili cook-off, and more — in addition to the great entertainment. Tickets are only $5.
Among the performers will be Rachael Brown, Stephanie Cocanour, Nicole Evans, Cassie Grimmet, Katie Hogsten, Celina Jeffers, Patrick Krischak, Nick McGlothlin, Hannah Messer, Ivie-Jean Nicholas, Jarrod Pack, Grace Shields, Loraine Stone, Isabell Swindall and Nadia Watson. Also performing will be the West Jefferson High School Chamber Singers, as well as special musical guests.
“I love how the Halloween Cabaret creates another valuable performing opportunity for students, while creating a great excuse to get together as a community, support the choral program of West Jefferson, and have a wonderful time together celebrating the fall season,” Armas said. “I hope to see lots of turn out this year from our friends and neighbors.”
