Red Raiders earn All-MSL

The following members of the London High School football team were honored by the Mid-State League Ohio Division with postseason honors. They are front row from left: junior JT Martin (honorable mention) and freshman Kijon (KJ) Price, (second team); second row: sophomore Kenyon Brown (honorable mention), sophomore Haden Huff (honorable mention) and sophomore Jacob Jones (second team).

The London Red Raiders football program enjoyed a resurgence in posting a winning record this fall (6-4), they were rewarded by several selections on the end of the year All-Mid-State League teams.

Senior running back Michael Johnson, senior linebacker Andrew Hoffman and senior offensive lineman Hayden Thompson were named to the first team All-MSL-Ohio Division team. Johnson was also honored as the “Player of the Year” after rushing for 2,989 yards, which was the ninth-most in Ohio High School football history.

Sophomore offensive lineman Jacob Jones and freshman defensive back Kijon (KJ) Price were named to the All-MSL-Ohio second team.

Sophomore offensive lineman Kenyon Brown, sophomore defensive end Haden Huff and junior defensive back JT Martin were named honorable mention all-league.
