MPHS ready for Blackout Friday night

Madison-Plains will be hosting its first-ever “Blackout Game” Friday night when the Golden Eagles entertain the Jets of Northeastern, starting at 7 p.m.

“The football team has worked very hard and purchased alternative uniforms,” Madison-Plains High School director of athletics Matt Mason said. “We are asking that everyone in attendance wear black when they attend the game this Friday.”

All Madison-Plains students who wear black will get into the game for free.

“We would love to fill this place up and show the team, cheerleaders, and band just how much we appreciate their hard work,” Mason said.

It is also Golden Eagle Youth Sports Association night, so fans are encouraged to come out and cheer on the future Eagles.
