WJ boosters ready for golf outing

The West Jefferson Athletic Boosters will hold their annual golf outing Sunday, June 25, at the Locust Hills Golf Course, located at 5575 N. River Road, Springfield.

Registration will be from 7 to 7:45 a.m. with tee-off at 8 a.m. The cost per golfer is $70 with a four-person scramble and a shotgun start.

The 18-hole course will include, a Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin prizes, as well as door prizes and low team score prizes. There will be mulligan purchase, raffle, pink tee, 50/50 drawing and an auction for two sideline passes at one football game; also available for purchase.

Following the outing, lunch will be served and will include, pork loin, chicken, baked beans, dinner rolls, coleslaw, ice cream sandwiches and beverages. Beverages will also be provided via cart delivery during the outing.

Pre-registration required by Monday, June 19 and sent to 1 Roughrider Drive, West Jefferson, OH 43162, Attn: Shawn Buescher. All checks should be made payable to West Jefferson Athletics Boosters.

Those interested in sponsoring a hole for $100 or have any questions are asked to contact Shawn Buescher at 614-879-7681, ext. 2305. Profits from the outing will support funding of activities, equipment and uniforms for students at the middle school and high school sponsored by the Athletic Boosters.
