They’ve competed in the same league for the last few seasons, but when West Jefferson traveled to London High School Wednesday, May 5, it would be the last time they would do so as members of the Mid-State League Ohio Division.

Much like they have in recent years the Roughriders dominated the contest and walked away with a 10-0 (6 innings) victory.

The Roughriders (16-4) had nine hits and scored in five of the game’s six inning. Isabelle Fisher had a pair of hits for West Jeff.

While the visitors were hitting the ball well, Fisher limited the Red Raiders (5-17) to just one hit, picking up the win in the circle. The lone hit came off the bat of of Serena Crawford.
