The Jonathan Alder girls soccer team had absolutely no trouble in picking up a Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference victory over visiting Marion Pleasant Monday evening.
The Lady Pioneers (3-1-0, 2-0-0 in MOAC) got a lot of different players into the scoring column as they zipped right past the Spartans 11-0.
Alder senior standout Alivia Milesky, an Ohio University recruit, scored four goals in the win. Also finding the back of the net were seniors Reed Hammond, Alexa Toler and Autumn Devine, juniors Kristen Beachy and Lily Hess, as well as sophomores Sophia Thomas and Sasha Hamlin.
The Spartans were unable to put much pressure on Alder freshman keeper Nora Squires, as she was able to keep the visitors off the scoreboard.
The Pioneers will be in action again on Wednesday, Sept. 2, when they host Buckeye Valley, starting at 7 p.m.
The Pioneers (3-0-1, 2-0-1 MOAC) and the visiting Spartans played to a 0-0 draw Monday evening.
Braeden McGough collected three saves in goal for Alder.
The team will play at Buckeye Valley Wednesday, starting at 5 p.m.
