Drew Howerton kicked the extra point through the uprights for a 13-0 lead.
The scoring continued with touchdown runs from Steven Ward and Wyatt Eades. Vallery added another touchdown on the ground, before connecting with Joey Grigsby for his second touchdown pass of the game.
Head coach Dave Thompson was proud of his team’s play in this opening game and coach Travis Chaffin’s defense was able to keep the Trojans off the scoreboard. The Golden Eagles look to continue their momentum when they face West Jefferson on Sept 8.
