Roof repair to cost $10,200

Madison County commissioners on Monday approved an estimate for some repair work to be performed on the Madison County Courthouse. The amount is $10,200.During the last winter, still remembered for its bitterness, county offices on the second floor experienced the steady drip, drip, drip of snow melt and rain. The in-office precipitation was particularly bothersome on the side of the building facing Fourth Street, at the point nearest the sheriff’s office.
