Letter: London Public Library has much to offer community

(Editor’s note: The deadline to submit letters to the editor regarding any issues or candidates for the Nov. 3 election is Oct. 27.)

Dear Editor,

The London Public Library levy is on the Nov. 3, 2015 ballot. The five-year levy will allow this great community resource to continue funding current day to day operations, restore Sunday and fall hours, and add some much needed programming.

Our library is a central part of our community and provides many services. Along with books, audiobooks, eBooks, Blu-Rays, video games, magazines and newspapers, the library has story times, computer and eReader training. You can join a book club or enjoy family movies nights.

The London Public Library has computers for general internet use and wireless access to the internet if you bring in your own computer. Looking for a job? The library provides job search assistance through online resources.

All this and more!

Additional funding will give our community more programming, including early literary resources and services, programs for at-risk students and adult education.
