Dear Editor,

A few weeks ago, a young man from London passed away tragically.

His name is Kevin Squires. Although I do not know this man, my heart goes out to his family and I grieve for you.

I had the privilege of witnessing his funeral procession and I have to say that I have never been more touched in my entire life.

A large group of his family and friends revved up their motorcycles as he was carried out of the funeral home and showed their love for this man, his family and his life.

So before anyone judges a biker for looking mean or scary for having tattoos and leather or cuts please take a minute to think of the fact that they are human just like you and I.

They love, hurt, grieve and cry just the same. Bikers are amazing men and women who just happen to enjoy the wind in their face more than others.

Thank you to all that I witnessed in the procession. You made me remember that there is good and I saw it in the form of a few good men and women on Harley’s.
