Chris Piper, the principal of Jonathan Alder Junior High School in Plain City, is expected to be hired as Triad Local Schools’ next superintendent.
The Triad school board will hold a special meeting Friday to hire Piper and to conduct routine business. His salary is expected to be $90,000 annually.
Piper holds a master’s degree in education focusing on educational leadership from Wright State University. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Wright State University.
He will replace resigning Superintendent Matt Sheridan, who will become the superintendent at Crooksville Exempted Village Schools on Aug. 1.
Triad Local Schools is located in North Lewisburg in Champaign County.
