A 39-year-old Washington C.H. man has been charged with felony abduction and domestic violence after allegedly striking his girlfriend several times Saturday and taking her phone and car keys from her.

Chacy S. Williams is being held in the Fayette County Jail without bond for the third-degree and fourth-degree felony counts.

The alleged victim told police Sunday that the day before at around 3:30 p.m. at their Washington C.H. home, Williams became violent and struck her in the face several times, according to reports. Williams then allegedly took the woman’s phone and car keys.

The victim told police that she was able to get into the bathroom and keep the door shut to prevent anymore violence, reports said. She stayed in the bathroom until about 11 p.m. until Williams calmed down, however, he still had her phone and car keys.

Police reports said that the victim had to go to the store with Williams to buy cigars “and she thought she would be able to jump out of the vehicle, then saw no one around to help her.”

On Sunday morning, the woman was able to get her phone and car keys back. She reportedly told Williams that she was going to get them breakfast, but then came to the police department.

She had visible injuries to her head, inside upper lip, neck, right index finger and nose, according to police. She said that she was afraid to try to leave due to prior incidents of domestic violence.

Warrants for domestic violence and abduction were filed and officers went to Williams’ home and arrested him. Williams is reportedly on federal parole for an armed robbery.
