A London man already on probation for selling heroin has been charged, with again selling the drug.

Joshua Douglas, 38, was arraigned in Madison County Common Pleas Court for allegedly trafficking heroin on Sept. 13, 2013.

Visiting Judge Robert D. Nichols appointed Mike Murray to represent Douglas at a community control violation hearing on March 3 and at a trial for the new charge set for March 10.

In the meantime, Douglas remains in Tri-County Regional Jail under a $25,000 bond.

Also on Friday, Nichols extended community control for Dillon T. Earles, 34, of London, to three years and ordered the man to undergo drug treatment at Madison County Mental Health.

Earles was sentenced last year to 18 months of community control for forging multiple checks in 2012. He failed to report to the court’s probation department as ordered and was jailed in December.

Murray said Earles asked to go to jail because he was not employed or contributing to his household.

Under terms of the extended community control, Earles must find a job within 30 days.
