The Prairie Raiders 4-H Club recently gathered for meeting at the London Public Library.
This March 12 meeting gave members time to enroll in 4-H on the new online system, vote for officers and committees and discuss future demonstrations.
The club elected Luke Peart for president. Vice president is Emily Davis and Ruth Peart is the secretary. The news reporter is Regan Rubel, health officer is Gabi Wolverton and Sarah Studebaker as safety officer.
Members also invited new important roles such as environmentalist, Brianna Peterman and recreation officer Hailey Travis.
As for committees, members will volunteer their time and organizational skills to help the club with their projects and specific responsibilities. One committee is the fair booth committee they include Hailey, Brianna, Lilly, Jamie and Sara. Community service committee is Hailey, Emily, Regan and Luke. Barn decorating committee includes Alexis, Brianna, Hailey, Jamie, Sara and Lilly.
After being elected president, Luke P. gave a great presentation about his family tree project that he will be taking for the second year this upcoming fair.
The meeting was adjourned as we all became official 4-H members for 2017.
