LHS choir earns spot at state

The London High School Symphonic Choir earned a spot in the State Finals by garnering straight superior ratings at the Ohio Music Education Association District 15 Choral Large Group Adjudicated Event, held at Columbus’ Whetstone High School. The 19-member group performed “I’ll Say It Anyway,” “When I Hear Music,” and “Be Still, Look Up and Listen,” as well as a sight-singing exercise for a panel of judges. State competition will take place in late April or early May. The students are under the direction of Tim Tanner. Jessi Dunham serves as the accompanist.
