COLUMBUS — The Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow (ECOT) — Ohio’s largest charter school — announced that students were named to the school’s latest Honor Roll and Honor Roll with Distinction for Junior High School.
Students ending each quarter with a 3.0-3.499 grade-point average for that previous semester are named to the Honor Roll and students with a grade-point average of 3.5 or above will be named to Honor Roll with Distinction.
Among the students named to the Honor Roll are Ahmad Etayem of London and Emma Frey and Kierra Putnam, both of West Jefferson.
Among the local students named to the Honor Roll with Distinction are Thomas Malone, Kaitlyn Bloomfield, Joshua Bouillet and Nijmah Etayem, all of London.
“We are extremely proud that so many of our students earned this prestigious distinction,” said ECOT Superintendent Rick Teeters. “It’s not only a testament to the dedication of these students, but to the hundreds of hard-working teachers we have across Ohio.”
Since 2000, ECOT has provided Ohio students the best curriculum, technology, and teachers available online today. With over 20,000 students having graduated from ECOT, and with an enrollment now over 14,000, ECOT is one of the largest online K-12 schools in the United States.
