A fundraiser will be held on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 to benefit a family fighting cancer.
Shellie Estep Huff, 43, of Plain City, has a rare cancer called Epitheloid Hemangioendothelioma. Shellie and her husband Mike have three children: Lauren, Ryan, Kenna and just recently met their first grandchild, Camden.
A bake sale will be held at the home of Darrin and Lisa Lane at 300 N. Chillicothe St., Plain City. Baked goods can be brought to the Lanes’ home by noon on July 3 to be sold July 3 and July 4 during the parade. They can also be dropped off the evening of July 2 between 5-7 p.m. All proceeds will go directly to Mike Huff and family.
A bike/stroller decorating station will be set up at the fundraiser.
The bake sale will at 4 to 6:30 p.m. on July 3. The bake sale will be open again on July 4 1:30 p.m. until sold out.
