Fun and balance at the library

Lily Beyer, left, assists The Great Kaplan with his balancing abilities during a summer program at the London Public Library.

The Great Kaplan displayed his balancing abilities with the assistance of local youth Lily Beyer during a summer program at the London Public Library.

The special event kicked off the library’s reading program, which runs throughout June and July.

Community members are invited to visit the library this summer, where they will find a variety of programs and materials for all ages. They are also encouraged to participate in the library’s reading challenge and have a chance to win some great prizes just for reading.

The next big family event is “Drawn to be a Hero” by comedian and artist, Jeff Nicholas at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 22.
