The London Public Library will be hosting an open house gathering from to celebrate the lengthy career of Bryan Howard. He will be leaving to become the director of the New Carlisle Public Library.
Howard has been an employee of the London Public Library for 14 years.
While still in high school, he began his library career as a part-time student page in 1997, eventually became the adult services manager. He has overseen many advances for the library, and has been active in the Central Library Consortium and the Ohio Library Council.
The open house will take place 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15.
“Come and enjoy snacks and beverages while the library that has been his home for over a decade sees him off to further his career and experience new adventures in the field of librarianship,” a spokesperson said..
