It was an evening of treats rather than tricks as West Jefferson High School presented the vocal program’s annual Halloween Cabaret, held Thursday, Oct. 26.

In addition to more than a dozen musical acts, there was both a costume contest and a Chili Cook-off.

Among the entertainers were West Jefferson High School senior Patrick Krishack who sang an original song he wrote and West Jefferson Middle School seventh grader Nadia Watson who performed Sally’s Song from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

The students were under the direction of teacher Rachel Armas.
