Bake sale and lemonade stand set up in front of the Huntington Bank in West Jefferson during the Labor Day parade. They exceeded $5,000 during this event.


A West Jefferson Community Tailgate Party will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14 in Pat’s Pizza and Sub parking lot, 55 E. Main St., West Jefferson.

The event will start at 4 p.m. The OSU vs. Nebraska game time is 7:30 p.m.

This is to help further research for Santino’s Crusade for a cancer free world.

A corn hole tournament will start at 5 p.m. There will be a beer truck, music, silent auction and kid’s activities.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit The James at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for head and neck cancer research.

On Nov. 9, 2016, Michael Carnevale lost his battle with adenoid cystic carcinoma. This fundraising activity is a way to show him how much he was loved.
