London police are searching for information about a string of car thefts that took place early Friday morning.

The crimes took place from 4 to 6 a.m. on the north end of the city, on Sheffield Court, Muirfield Drive and Kelsey Court.

One vehicle, a 2006 blue Honda CRV, is still missing from Muirfield Drive, according to Chief Glenn Nicol. The license plate number is GQR8765.

Another vehicle, a 2006 white Chevrolet Tahoe, was stolen from Kelsey Court and recovered elsewhere in the neighborhood. A third vehicle was broken into, but not stolen.

It’s believed all of the vehicles were unlocked, Nicol said.

The chief encouraged residents to lock their vehicles and remove their valuables.

There are no suspects at this time, Nicol said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the London Police Department at 740-852-1414 or via the department’s app, which is available by searching for My Police Department on your device.
