The Aladdin Shriners will be collecting donations from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 24 and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, at Walmart, 375 Lafayette St., in London.
They will also be collecting donations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Masonic Temple, N. Main St., London.
All monies collected goes to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
The first Shrine Hospital for Children opened in 1922 in Shreveport, Louisiana, providing expert pediatric care, which has been a cornerstone of their mission to improve the lives of children. Today, Shriners Hospitals for Children is changing lives every day through innovative pediatric specialty care, world class research and outstanding medical education.
The Shriners Network 22 locations (20 in the United States, and one each in Canada and Mexico) provide care for all types of orthopaedic conditions, spinal cord injuries, burns, and cleft lip and palate, in a friendly centered environment for children up to 18 years old. Their care is provided at no charge regardless of financial need.
