Having reached the state Final Four in the Division II tournament the last two seasons and having a 20-2 junior varsity team this past year, reaching the Final Four next season is the goal again, Alder coach Craig Kyle said.
The Jonathan Alder baseball team will make its second consecutive trip to the Division II state Final Four tournament. The Pioneers (23-3) won it all last season and hope for a repeat performance this year. Their title defense starts at 10 a.m. Friday against Columbus St. Francis DeSales.
