Crabill Homestead open this weekend


The Crabill Homestead will be open from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19 and Sunday, Sept. 20. The homestead is located at 2800 Croft Road within the C. J. Brown Reservoir area overlooking the reservoir and land that had belonged to David and Barbara Crabill and their descendants until acquired by the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers in the 1968. Guests are invited to come see the four-room house that was home to the family of 12 children. This is one of the bedrooms that is upstairs.
