Legion donates to summer reading program


Mt. Sterling American Legion Post 417 recently donated $1,000 to the Mt. Sterling Public Library to support the summer reading program as a co-sponsor. Library director Chris Siscoe, left, accepts the donation check from Billy Martin, who is representing American Legion Post 417. The Legion also donated a check of $500 to the Mt. Sterling Friends of the Library for their recent spaghetti dinner fundraiser.
