A Friend’s House domestic shelter will hold its inaugural golf outing Saturday, May 24 at the Locust Hills Golf Course in Springfield. A shotgun start will tee off at 1:30 p.m.
Donation is $60 per golfer or $240 per foursome.
Fee includes greens fees, cart and meal (see bill of fare).
The team with the lowest score will win a prize of a golf trip to Tradition Golf Club at Royal New Kent, Virginia.
In addition, prizes will be awarded for men’s and women’s longest drive and shot closest to the pin.
On the par three holes, prizes will be awarded to the first golfer to score a hole-in-one thereon. They include:
• 7th hole: 2014 Chevrolet Malibu
• 9th hole: A four-day, three-night stay at the French Lick resort in Indiana
• 13th hole: A four-day, three-night stay at any Fairmont Resort
• 18th hole: A head-to-toe golfing outfit of Travis Mathews Signature Clothing and a $500 online gift card
Hole prizes were donated by Coughlin Automotive.
