On Feb. 7, 2014, at 4:18am, New Boston Police reportedly confiscated 1,200 pills with a street value of around $30,000, and at the same time arrested a Huntington, W.Va., woman for trafficking in drugs. Shacora Littles age 21, has been charged with aggravated trafficking in Schedule II drugs and aggravated possession of Schedule II drugs both felonies in the first degree.

Around 4:18 a.m. Friday, NBPD Officer Justin Bittinger was on patrol and observed a vehicle commit what he said was a traffic violation. Bittinger pulled over the vehicle, assisted by Sergeant Josh Carver in the 4400 block of Gallia Street. Captain Steve Goins said Littles was a passenger in the vehicle and after briefly questioning her, officers said they noticed criminal indicators she was exhibiting. Upon consent to search, officers said they located over 1,200 Oxycodone pills with a street value of around $30,000. The driver of the vehicle was not charged with any crime but was given a warning on the traffic violation.

Littles was arrested and taken to the New Boston Police Department for processing and later transferred to the Scioto County Jail. Goins said Littles will appear at Portsmouth Municipal Court on Monday morning.
