The official results of the November 5, 2013 election are in, causing a shake-up in London’s first ward.
The unofficial results showed Trint Hatt the winner of the ward’s seat on London City Council. The official results, released Tuesday, November 26, show the race going to write-in candidate Joshua Peters.
In the unofficial results, Hatt earned 36 votes to Peters’ 20 and Ridenour’s 18. All three candidates gained votes in the official results, with Peters gaining the most: Peters 46, Hatt 44, and Ridenour 21.
While only two votes separate the candidates, a recount has not been requested nor scheduled.
