POINT PLEASANT — This week the Mason County Board of Education convened in regular session, approving an agenda of primarily personnel items. Approved as follows: Volunteers from Beale Elementary, Hannan Jr/Sr High, Mason County Career Center, and Point Pleasant Jr/Sr High for the remainder of the 2014-15 school year. Cowling Park in London was full of anxious kids on Saturday, April 4 for the Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Crossroads Community Church. Kids were off and running as soon as the countdown reached zero by Pastor Thad Gifford. The park was loaded with about 6,000 filled Easter eggs. Those who found a number inside an egg received a gift.
