Parents of children on the east side of Choctaw Lake and basketball players catching their second wind in some shade will have Tyler Yost to thank. The shady respite is a 20-foot by 20-foot shelter in a park and the corner of Chulahoma and Suqulak in the lake community development. It was the community project for Yost, who developed and built it to earn his Eagle Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America.
