Swonger honored with Award of Achievement
For The Madison Press
School board members, administrators, staff, students and guests from across central Ohio gathered in Columbus for the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Central Region Spring Conference.
The region recognized outstanding schools and school board members, including Tolles Board of Education member, Don Swonger.
Tolles Career & Technical Center and Madison-Plains board member, Don Swonger, received the OSBA Award of Achievement for the fourth time at the spring conference.
“The fact that Mr. Swonger has received this award from OSBA four times is a measure of his dedication to both the Madison-Plains and Tolles Boards of Education. He has been selected by his peers because of his professionalism, participation beyond just board governance, and commitment to students. We’re very fortunate to have Mr. Swonger serve on our board at Tolles as a former agriculture education teacher and an advocate for career-technical education,” said Kim Wilson-Davis, superintendent of Tolles.
