H.E.L.P House seeking donations
For The Madison Press
The H.E.L.P. House is seeking donations for the 2013 Easter Outreach. They are need of the following:
• Easter baskets (unfilled)
• Easter grass
• plastic eggs
• small books/toys (Christian or Easter themed)
• wrapped pieces of chocolate
• jelly beans
• personal care products for older kids
The H.E.L.P. House will be taking donations through to Wednesday, March 20.
Those wishing to volunteer with the setup or implementation of the outreach can register with Chandra Kelly at (740) 852-4124.
The H.E.L.P. House exists to serve children, families, and individuals in need by providing food, clothing, shelter, emergency assistance and God’s love. The H.E.L.P. House focuses on recognizing their struggles within a loving environment with dignity and respect. The H.E.L.P. House is located at 122 E. Center St. in London.
Are you or someone you know fighting to make ends meet? Struggling with your winter heating bills? Do you have a heating emergency? We can be a HEAP of help.
The Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (E-HEAP) will end on Sunday, March 31.
Income eligibility is 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines ($46,100 per year for a family of four). E-HEAP provides financial assistance once per heating season to households that are: threatened with disconnection, already disconnected, or have less than 25 percent supply of bulk fuel, wood or coal. E-HEAP can also cover assistance to establish or transfer service.
