St. Patrick School eighth grade students from left Erik Snyder, Aly Wiseman, McLaren Rogerson, and Nathaniel Wilson plan for the annual middle school Valentine’s Dance, to be held Saturday, Feb. 9.
Love is in the air this time of year.
And a local school shows how much it loves the youth of its community.
St. Patrick School of London opens its doors once again this year for a Valentine’s Day dance.
The nineth annual event — open to all Madison County students in sixth through eighth grades — will take place from 7-9:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at St. Patrick School, 226 Elm St., London.
The event has grown in popularity throughout the years.
Come move to the classy sounds of deejay ‘COOP.’ Concessions will be available. Five dollar admission price (no reentry), with free coat check. Commemorative photos will be taken at a minimal cost.
The dance will be chaperoned by St. Patrick School eighth grade parents as well as school administration.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the St. Patrick eighth grade class trip fund. Other fundraisers throughout the year have included working the main gate at the Madison County Fair and the popular sub sandwich sale.
