SCHLOSSER

Steven E. “Steve” Schlosser, 63, surrounded by his loving family, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013.

He was born Jan. 15, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio.

Steve was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Lilly Chapel where he served on the board of trustees.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn, whom he married July 13, 1968; mother, Dorothy Wilhide of Grove City; daughter, Amy Davis of Columbus; sons, Scott (Jonna) Schlosser and Shawn (Nicole) Schlosser, all of Galloway; six grandchildren, Jordan, Justin, Ariyanna, Lauren, Taylah and Sierra; sister, Nanci (Wayne) Bowles of Orient; brother, Mark (Vickie) Schlosser of Plain City; several nieces, nephews, friends and his four legged companion, Casey.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Earl J. Schlosser.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in the RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Lilly Chapel. Rev. Jesse Blevins will be officiating.
