Red Raiders come up short at Clinton-Massie, 60-53

ADAMS TOWNSHIP —The London boys basketball team went to Clinton-Massie Friday but was unable to return with a win as it fell 60-53 against the South Central Ohio League champions.
The Red Raiders (8-12, 5-8) will close out SCOL play Tuesday at Washington (14-7, 9-4).

The Golden Eagles (12-8, 7-6) picked up a win in this non-league game Saturday, a day after dropping a 48-41 decision at Hillsboro.
The one-two punch of seniors Ryne Davis (17) and Alex Williams (15) combined to score 32 points.
MPHS will play at Greenfield McClain Friday.
West Jefferson 53,
Grandview 43
The Roughriders (14-5) topped the Bobcats for the second time this season with a strong road performance Saturday.
Jonathan Flucke (15), Kyle Rollins (12) Ryan Love (nine) and Seth Casto (nine) led the way for West Jefferson.

Jonathan Alder 52
The Pioneers (3-17) played a good Panthers team tough Saturday but came up just short.
Alder scored 26 points in the fourth quarter and nearly erased a 14-point fourth quarter deficit.

Horizon Science 25
The Flames (15-4) made light work of host Horizon Science Friday.
Annelise Rohrer (23), Bridget Troyer (17) and Janelle Roby (12) combined to score 52 points in the win.
“It was a good win for us and hopefully a tune up for tougher games coming up,” coach Rod Yoder said.
