PHILLIPS

Doris Jean (Cordle) Phillips, 81, of West Jefferson, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.

She was born Nov. 8, 1931, in Lawrence County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Jarrett and Goldie Cordle.

Doris was a member of the Amity Enterprise Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Lester; daughter, Marlene Brumfield; son, Larry (Christine) Phillips; granddaughters, Katie (Aaron) Kelly and Kara Phillips; great-grandson, William Kelly; siblings, Garlene Osborne, Melvin Cordle, Freda (Ben) Wells, Maxine (Arnie) Lewis, Kenneth Cordle, and Karen (Darrell) Slone; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Gaynelle Wheeler, Francine Adkins and Ellen Fern Merz; son-in-law, Glenn E. Brumfield.

Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, in the RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson, Ohio, where Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013. Rev. Chris LeMaster will be officiating. Burial will follow in Hampton Cemetery.
