BIRCHFIELD

Mary K. Birchfield, 65, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013.

She was the owner of Klassic Karpets.

She enjoyed spending time at Indian Lake and visiting Florida. She enjoyed shopping, bargain hunting at yard sales, and her “face page” friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved mother, Freda Mae Bush; and grandparents, Sterlie and Mary Bush.

Survived by the love of her life, husband, Richard Birchfield; son, Richard Douglas (Becke) Birchfield; daughter, Robin Renee’ (Jon) Veith; son, Curtis Allen (Amanda) Birchfield; the grandchildren who were the joy of her world, Jared, Derrick, Drake, Makayla, Macy, Delaney, Kyler, and Kameron.

Family will receive friends and family from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at THE PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St,. Mt. Sterling, OH 43143, where a funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, with visitation one hour prior to the time of service. Interment will be at Pleasant Cemetery.
