VERDERANO

Joseph C. Verderano, 71, of Washington Court House, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, in Mount Carmel West.

He was born Dec. 12, 1941, in Adams County, Ohio.

He was the son of the late Patsey and Lydia Ann (Shanks) Verderano.

Also preceding him in death was brothers, Melvin, Leo, and Chester Gene Verderano; half-brother, Carl Woods.

He is survived by daughter, Lori Verderano; brothers, Frank Verderano of Washington Court House, Dale Verderano of Los Angeles; sisters, Mary (Frank) Deskins of Washington Court House and Berdena Gardner of Washington Court House; nieces and nephews.

A PRIVATE Family Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. Rev. Leland Brehm, pastor of the Derby-Five Points United Methodist Church, will be officiating. The interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery.
