REEVES

Charles O. Reeves, 89, of London, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, in the Dayton Veteran’s Hospital.

Born July 28, 1923, in Lawrence County, Kentucky, he was a son of Oscar and Rosa Nell (Greene) Reeves.

A well known Madison County farmer.

Charlie was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He had owned his own Realtor Farm Brokerage.

A member of the Newport United Methodist Church; he was also a member of the DAV Chapter No. 93 and BVA (Blind Veteran’s Association.)

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, June (Roberts) Reeves; daughter and son-in-law, Connie (Roger) Tingley of Carmel, Indiana; grandchildren, Christopher Tingley of Michigan and Alison (Rick) Lemberg of Indiana; great-grandchildren, Paul Sanderson and Trey Lemberg; brothers, Walter and Arvil Reeves, both of London; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Russell and Joseph Reeves; and sisters, Edith Wooten, Pauline Helterbran, Eliza Crago, Herma Sever and Arna Leah Sharp.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London. Rev. Jeff Smalley will be officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. Interment will be in Paint Memorial Cemetery, London.

If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions to either DAV Chapter No. 93, c/o David Beekman, 8875 Big Plain-Circleville Road, London, OH 43140, or the Newport United Methodist Church, c/o David Call, 9620 Danville Road, London, OH 43140.
