NIBERT JR.

Leo O. “Joe” Nibert Jr., 57, of London, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, in his residence.

Born Sept. 25, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Leo O. Sr. and Mabel Marie (Douglas) Nibert.

A construction worker, Joe had formerly been employed at the London Correctional Institution and at the Department of Corrections in Hendersonville, North Carolina and he had also worked at MRC Sales.

Survivors are his son, Brandon L. Nibert of Hendersonville, North Carolina; his mother, Marie Nibert, of London; two sisters, Gay Ann Nibert of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Beverly S. (Randy) Miller of London; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo O. Nibert Sr. on May 15, 1978; and by an infant sister, Karen Elizabeth Nibert in 1967.

Memorial services will be conducted in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London, at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. Rev. James Fultz will be officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 p.m. Friday.

If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions to the Madison County Humane Society or to the London Church of Christ in Christian Union. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
